How do I make my collar bigger or smaller

This is a very common question, and more folks struggle with this that you would think. We use something called a Tri-glide slider adjuster. It may look familiar to you, since most backpacks, child seat dna for the ladies, bras, all use this same adjuster. By sliding the adjuster towards the ID Patch or name tape, you will make the collar smaller. By sliding the adjuster in the opposite direction, toward the male buckle end, the collar will be make larger. Now keep in mind. When you first get this collar... It has never been worn or used, so it will be STIFF! use a butter knife or small flat screw driver if needed to lift the webbing. I promise this will get easier as the collar gets worn in. This is due to the resin they treat the webbing with. It will relax and become easier to adjust (if needed) as the collar gets used!

Can I wash my equipment

Absolutely! in fact we encourage that you wash your equipment often! No-one likes the stinky kid in class, so go ahead and pop that collar, harness, or vest into a large delicates bag (you can get one on our website if needed), and wash it with a few dog towles. to protect the washer, and give the item being washed a little more scrubbing. After you removed the item from the washer (after the wash cycle is completed), simply hang it out to dry. If you have a buckle, please spray a TINY bit of lube spray into the buckle to keep it working like new.

How do I size my Dog for a vest, Harness or Collar

Inside each listing where you need to do a complex measurement, you will find a diagram that shows you how to meassure your dog. It is alway a good idea to have a friend help you with this, since it is an important task. Something to remember. Do not try to do any thinking for us. Think of it as a tailor taking measurement for a suit or dress. they don't ask you to do any thinking for them, they meassure and the next time you see them, you have a quality made item that fits perfectly! So, Take those meassurements TIGHT!!! We will build a custom adjustment range into the item for you, so that there is room for expansion and contraction.

Is there room for growth or inward contraction on my Harness or collar?

Absolutely! We boast some of the industry's largest expansion ranges on our equipment. I mean, if you are goinf to be spending HUNDREDS of Dollars on a piece of equipment, I would assume you would want this piece to expand or contract with the dog if they are growning or need to lose weight. We own dogs too, so we KNOW how frustrating it is when you bought a collar or harness and there is NO room for axpansion.. I mean do these guys even own dogs? Do they no know that dogs expand and contract seasonally? We try to keep that in mind with every piece we make!

How do you compare to the more overpriced stores?

short answer? we Don't. The truth is; Every Company has their strengths and weaknesses. Our Strength is that we actually LISTEN to our Clients, we constantly evolve, we constantly try to reinvent the wheel! if a flaw is identified, we go to the utmost extremes to figure it out, fix it or redesign it. OUR equipment actually go through months of rigirous testing in Military, Law Enforcement and SAR situations. We have testers that put our equipment through HELL, andif it can survive what they put it through, then we know we can put it out there. Oh wait, did I mention that we actually have our hardware TESTED? Yes, we have all of the hardware we use tested before use and randomly when we get new batches made, by a third part independent lab, to test that all of our harware conform to OUR minimum standards. Believe it or not, but our standards are higher than ANY industry standard. We do not meet the standards, we Fly WAY over them.. Yes I also mentioned weaknesses. Our weakness... safety of our dogs. That is our soft spot. we would never make anything that would put our own dogs at risk, so rest assured, we have your dog's back!

Do you offer discounts to Veterans, Military, Law Enforcement and SAR?

Yes we do, BUT we do have limits. You may have noticed that we are actually less expensive than our competitors already, and we offer free embroidery, and free shipping in the US. Our competitors don't. Don't believe me? go check it out. Apples to apples we are the best value for your dollar. Our safety standards are the highest in the industry. we offer the highest quality products on the market, backed by scientific and real world testing. The other guys can't say that. We can Promise that! We can back it up with actuall testing results! That said, yes we can still provide a discount to you... IF! and I say IF! we feel you need it or it is warranted. Like anyindustry there are those little elements out there that just try to save a buck and scam others out of their hard earned money., and they always ruin it for the rest of us (I say us, because we are affected by the same hardships you are... dollars don't stretch as far as they used to, and prices just seem to keep going up). We will always try to be fair, and give discounts where we can, when we can. That is our promise!

Do you offer refunds or returns

It depends on the situation. If we made a mistakeon your order, we will always fix it! If you made a mistake, then no. (That sounds harsh, but it is fair. Our items are custom made to order, when ordered. It is made JUST for YOU! In case you haven;t noticed, we ask a LOT of questions when we collect data for your order. This is to ensure that we get it right. If you made a mistake, why should we pay for it? Now again. if WE made the mistake, ABSOLUTELY, we stand behind our work 100% we will fix it.) Can I return an item I don't really like? NO. it was made to your specific instructions. no-one else can use it after you have used it. But you can re-sell it. Again, do not mistake my comments. If WE made a mistake, we will fix it! if you made a mistake you should take responsibility for it.

I gave you the wrong shipping address by accident

unfortunately we cannot control something that has left our facility, and is currently in transit. You will need to make arrangements to pick it up at the address you gve us. It is YOUR responsibility to give us the correct information. If you cannot do that, then it is outside of our control. Now if you catch the mistake while we still have the item, ABSOLUTELY, we can correct the issue, immediately. BUT, once it has shipped, it is done and cannot be changed. you will need to either arrange to go pick it up, or buy a new one. Harsh, but true and fair. you would ask the same of us.

My package went missing in the mail or stolen from my porch

Unfortunately this is one of the worst parts about ordering something online... the carrier loses the package. It happens a lot during storms and snow. We the shipper are responsible for that package until it reaches your door. so that means we will do everything it takes to make sure you get it. BUT there is always a but... If the item was delivered to your door, and a porch pirate stole.... then we are not responsible. it is YOUR repsonsibilty to have a safe space to receive packages on your property. This is common sense and common law. once the package has been delivered with phot proof. then it is no linger the shipper's responsibility. it is such an unfair part of life, having something stolen or ruined by an undisrable element in society, but again, it is the life we live in. and it is your/our responsibility to ensure that we all have a safe space to receive packages.

Do you donate to charity or non-profit organizations?

Yes we do! BUT we get to decide which ones we donate to. We believe that any cause that promotes safe, responsible dog training and ownership is a worthy cause, but you must understand, we are a Mom and Pop store. we are not a corporate giant that doles out millions to everyone when asked. We also have our own bills to pay, our own dogs to take care of, our interests and groups to pay for and take care of. We can only gove so much until we cannot give anymore. So, please, if we say no, it is not beacuse we do not care. it just means that we have other things we have to pay for also. (Just like you) We try to give generously where we can!

What is your turnaround time - and how does it compare to the other companies? Do you ACTUALLY make your own gear?

our turnaround time is usually 3 to 7 business days. This is considered the fastest turnaround time in the industry, even by Ai or Google standards. The avergae turn around time to order something from China, is 4 to 6 weeks... so when you shop online and the seller says 4 to 6 weeks... I guess they do not really make your equipment in house... do they? We process on average 100 orders in 3 days. We also have large military orders that we send both domestically and abroad. If a Mom and Pop store can physically make and keep up with a huge order load and still have a quick turnaround time? why can a large big box store or any of our competitors? It makes you think.. where DOES it come from? How long does it take to walk into a room with a pair of scissors and walk out the other side with a collar? If it is a stock premade item, how long does it take to wlak to a shelf and grab it off the shelf and slap a label on it? Don't always believe that your "non -custom made in the USA" item actually is made in the USA. if it takes longer than 3 to 6 weeks.. it is NOT made in the USA. We can show you EVERY step of the process and the persons making your gear. Can they?
