There is no Plastic Hardware on this collar.
The adjustment section is done via Metal Slider and is rated for 4,000Lbs. 
No flimsy Velcro adjustment that could come undone or pop loose during agitation.
The Padding is 1/2" layer of soft EVA Foam wrapped in 1680d Canvas
There is Plenty of space for ID Patches
